This client was looking to highlight and celebrate all things girly and glam in her daughter-to-be’s nursery. A vibrant oriental carpet anchors the room. Sweet gold foil butterflies are framed on two walls, while hand-made book-paper butterflies delicately fly away from the book shelves and along the crib wall. The crib is clad in custom crib bedding, and the hand-made pouf mobile above the crib adds a sweet detail. The daybed in the room is layered with feminine pillows, all of which have beautiful textural details such as embroidery, pompoms, fringe, and fur. The glider in the room is adorned with a hand-made felt rose pillow. A gold Moroccan ottoman and gold ceramic garden stools add additional sparkle to the room. A crystal chandelier casts a lovely pattern of light and shadow across all of the walls, creating an ephemeral feeling in the space.
